    SaaS subscriptions and billing

    Effective October 16, 2026

These Subscription Terms form part of the BUFI Terms of Service between you and Fantasmita, LLC, doing business as BUFI. They apply alongside the specific purchase terms you accept. Reading this page does not itself create a paid subscription, authorize a charge or record your acceptance. Mandatory rights and the customer-asset protections in the Terms continue to apply.

    1. What am I buying, and which terms apply?

These Subscription Terms apply to paid BUFI software subscriptions, AI credit purchases and separately agreed SaaS services. The checkout or accepted order identifies the customer or purchasing workspace, plan, billing interval, price and currency, included capacity, and any trial, discount or other commercial conditions. An annual subscription price is charged for the year; a displayed monthly equivalent does not mean twelve monthly installments.

A negotiated enterprise order may specify a committed fee, included seats or workspaces, usage tiers, invoice due dates and a fixed service term. Only commercial terms expressly agreed by both parties override the corresponding standard subscription terms. A purchase order or procurement form does not change these Terms merely because BUFI receives it. Implementation, migration, custom development, dedicated support or service levels are included only if expressly agreed in an order or statement of work. These Subscription Terms do not silently override privacy obligations, customer-asset protections, mandatory rights or the dispute provisions of the Terms of Service.

If a purchased feature is also in beta, these Subscription Terms and the accepted commercial terms continue to govern its price, committed service period and cancellation. The Beta Terms govern its evaluation status and private-preview requirements; a beta label does not override the paid commitment. The applicable DPA takes priority for processing Customer Personal Data.

    2. Is my subscription personal or for a workspace?

Check the purchaser and subscription scope before paying. A web workspace subscription covers the identified workspace and its applicable members, resources and limits. Only an authorized owner or administrator may buy or change that workspace’s subscription. A personal mobile Pro subscription belongs to the individual and can be recognized across that person’s BUFI workspaces for its personal benefits; it does not increase a workspace’s seats, payroll capacity, card limits or other workspace allowances. Personal and workspace AI credit balances are separate; Mobile Pro does not by itself increase either scope’s AI credit allowance; included credits are those shown for the applicable personal account or workspace.

During the applicable service term, BUFI grants the customer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the purchased software features for its lawful personal or business activities, including collaboration with authorized members and counterparties through the Service. You may not resell or sublicense access, share credentials, defeat usage controls or reverse engineer the Service except where applicable law permits it. No restriction prevents using the intended invoice, payroll, client, contractor or integration features for your business. A subscription does not guarantee access to every financial product, country, network or third-party service; separate verification and eligibility still apply.

    3. When does a subscription start and renew?

Self-service subscriptions start when the purchase is confirmed, subject to payment verification and activation. They renew automatically for successive monthly or annual periods at the disclosed recurring price until cancelled. You authorize those recurring charges only through the applicable purchase process. Accepting the platform Terms, viewing a pricing page, receiving an invitation or using a free or beta feature alone does not authorize a paid subscription.

A fixed-term enterprise offer ends on its agreed end date and does not renew automatically; any extension or replacement requires a separate agreement. Its annual billing schedule does not shorten a multi-year commitment or make that commitment cancellable month to month. If a trial or promotional offer is available, its duration, included benefits, eligibility, subsequent price and any conversion to recurring billing must be disclosed and accepted before a charge.

    4. How are fees, usage and taxes billed?

Pay the fees and applicable taxes disclosed for your purchase. Web workspace subscriptions are processed through Stripe; personal subscriptions bought through Apple or Google are processed under the store’s billing rules, with RevenueCat used to manage entitlements. Keep billing information current and use a payment method you are authorized to use. Enterprise invoices follow the payment schedule and due date agreed for the order. Late-payment charges apply only if separately agreed and permitted by law.

Where an accepted enterprise order includes a committed annual fee and monthly metered seat or workspace charges, the agreed included quantities, measurement rules, tiers and billing intervals govern. Resource limits in a self-service plan do not themselves authorize unquoted overage charges. Additional capacity, credit packs or usage charges require the purchase or billing arrangement you expressly authorize. Applicable taxes and discounts are shown at checkout or on the order or invoice; you are responsible for taxes other than those on BUFI’s net income.

Subscription fees buy software access and included benefits. They are separate from wallet balances, deposits, payment amounts, and network, protocol, conversion or partner charges. A subscription does not give BUFI a blanket right to debit your wallets or bypass the signing and approval rules in Terms Section 5.

    5. How do AI credits and usage limits work?

The plan and usage screens identify included credits, the applicable credit period, available packs and resource limits. AI is metered and is not unlimited merely because a subscription is paid or a feature is in beta. Personal and workspace purchases credit their respective balances; a balance in one scope is not automatically available in the other.

    • Free and Trial share one introductory lifetime allowance for the applicable personal or workspace account. The introductory grant has no expiry while it remains an introductory grant. If an upgrade replaces it with a paid-period grant, the unused introductory balance and upgrade increment become part of that paid grant and expire with that period. Changing plans or starting another trial does not create a fresh introductory grant.
    • Paid monthly credit grants expire at the end of their applicable credit period and do not roll over. An annual subscription does not turn them into an annual accumulated allowance. The credit period may differ from your subscription renewal date; use the period shown in the Service.
    • Purchased credit packs expire twelve months after the credits are issued following verified settlement, subject to mandatory law and any express offer terms. They are usage units for the Service, not a deposit, transferable digital asset or cash balance.
    • A qualifying plan upgrade can top up the current grant by the difference in allowance. A downgrade does not itself claw back the current grant; its existing expiry still applies. Future grants and feature limits follow the effective plan.

When a limit or credit balance is reached, the affected action may be restricted until you buy eligible capacity or credits, change plans, or receive the next applicable grant. Running out does not by itself authorize automatic recharge or unlimited billable overages. Any future automatic purchase arrangement requires separate disclosure and authorization.

    6. How do plan changes and price changes work?

Review the effective date and any prorated charge or account credit before confirming a plan or billing-interval change. Web plan changes may take effect immediately and create prorations; a scheduled change takes effect on its displayed date. Do not assume every downgrade waits until renewal or creates a cash refund. Store purchases follow the store’s change and billing rules.

We will notify you before a recurring price increase takes effect and provide the cancellation opportunity, reminders and affirmative consent required by applicable law. A change does not retroactively reprice a period already purchased or alter committed enterprise pricing unless the order permits that adjustment or both parties agree. Material changes to these Subscription Terms follow Section 21 of the Terms of Service. Discounts, sponsored fees and beta benefits last only for the scope and period expressly offered; see the Beta Terms.

    7. How do I cancel, and when are refunds available?

For an ordinary web self-service subscription, use Billing in the Service to manage the plan or cancel renewal through the billing portal or cancellation control. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and paid access continues until then. Cancel before the next renewal to avoid that renewal charge; any earlier notice required by mandatory law or a separately accepted enterprise order applies. If the control fails or you cannot access it, contact hello@bu.finance for help stopping future renewals and keep your cancellation confirmation.

For a personal subscription purchased through Apple or Google, manage renewal and request refunds through that store’s subscription controls or the available in-app customer center. BUFI cannot promise approval of a store refund. Uninstalling the app, signing out, leaving a workspace or stopping use does not itself cancel the provider’s recurring subscription. Do not rely on an account-deletion request alone to stop a store charge; contact us if you need help with closure and billing.

Cancellation does not automatically refund the unused part of an already paid period or a credit pack. Refunds or credits expressly offered, separately agreed, approved to correct a billing error, or required by law remain available. A credit applied to a billing account is not necessarily a cash refund. Where an enterprise offer expressly replaces a self-service plan, any unused-time refund or credit follows that offer and the payment’s refundable balance. Fixed-term enterprise commitments and their termination rights follow the accepted order, rather than the self-service cancel-renewal rule. Statutory withdrawal, cancellation, dispute and refund rights remain unaffected.

Where a self-service billing pause is offered, it pauses subscription collection for the displayed period and billing resumes automatically on the displayed date. A pause is different from cancelling renewal; it does not itself refund earlier fees, promise read-only access, waive other transaction or partner charges, or change a separately agreed enterprise commitment.

Stopping beta use does not itself cancel renewal or end a paid commitment. If paid beta access is withdrawn, the accepted purchase terms, these Subscription Terms and any applicable refund or service-credit rights continue to govern the affected service period.

    8. What happens after nonpayment, downgrade or termination?

If a payment fails or is overdue, BUFI or the billing provider may retry the authorized charge, ask you to update the payment method, and restrict paid features or downgrade the plan under the applicable subscription or order. Where reasonable and legally permitted, we will notify you and give an opportunity to address the issue. No fixed grace period is promised here. Enterprise payment and collection arrangements follow the accepted order. Contact hello@bu.finance promptly to dispute a billing error. Applicable legal billing-dispute rights remain available.

Cancellation, downgrade or nonpayment does not transfer ownership of customer data or funds to BUFI. Some paid features or creation limits may become unavailable; that does not itself require deleting your existing financial records. Any expressly retained feature entitlement remains limited to that feature and its eligibility conditions, not lifetime access to Pro or all paid features. Resolve pending payments and save important records while you have access. If you cannot retrieve records or address a pending money movement, contact support.

Account closure, data requests and retention follow Terms Section 15, the Privacy Policy and, where applicable, the Data Processing Addendum. Data retrieval and deletion requests are handled under those policies, including their legal-retention requirements. BUFI’s duty to account for and return assets it controls remains subject to the Terms, required approvals, legal restrictions and applicable network or protocol obligations.

Where the DPA applies, it preserves the customer’s right to request a copy of Customer Personal Data within thirty days after the Service ends, to the extent available through the Service’s export features. Its return, deletion and legally required retention rules control that data; beta-material cleanup does not shorten those rights.

    9. What are the customer’s responsibilities?

Provide accurate account and billing details, maintain appropriate devices and connectivity, and protect sign-in and signing credentials. Workspace administrators are responsible for authorized members, roles, approvals and any required rights or notices for customer, contractor and employee data. Do not evade sanctions, eligibility checks, resource limits or security controls. The compliance and permitted-use rules in the Terms of Service continue to apply.

Review invoices, payroll, AI output and other business records for accuracy. The subscription provides software and assistance; it does not make BUFI your employer, accountant, tax adviser, investment adviser or legal adviser. Financial products, provider decisions and asset risks remain governed by their applicable terms, not by a software plan name. You remain responsible for actions and grants you authorize; no provision here excuses BUFI’s own breach, negligence or non-delegable duties.

    10. Who owns data, and how is confidential information protected?

You retain ownership of customer data and business records you provide. BUFI and its licensors retain ownership of the software, technology and service improvements. The limited processing license, feedback provisions, Privacy Policy and applicable DPA govern; paying for an implementation does not transfer software ownership unless a written statement of work expressly says so. You may retain and use the business records produced for you through the Service, subject to third-party rights.

Each party will take reasonable care to protect the other’s non-public business, technical and financial information that is marked confidential or reasonably understood to be confidential. Use and disclosure are limited to providing or receiving the Service, authorized purposes and people or service providers who need access and are bound to protect it. This duty does not cover information that becomes public without breach, was lawfully known without restriction, is independently developed, or is lawfully received without restriction. Legally required disclosures and protected reports to authorities remain permitted. Advance notice of legally compelled disclosure is required only where lawful and reasonably practicable. No advance notice or permission is required for protected reports to authorities or other legally protected disclosures.

Confidentiality continues while the information remains confidential. Personal-data and security duties continue for as long as the applicable policies, agreements or law require. The Privacy Policy and DPA govern personal-data processing, permitted providers, retention, deletion and international transfers. These Subscription Terms do not grant new rights to train general-purpose AI models on customer content, sell data, publish identifiable customer information, or bypass optional tracking consent. A subscription does not authorize BUFI to publish the customer’s name or logo, require a reference call or issue a press release without separate permission. Public beta use and protected honest reviews remain subject to the safeguards in the Beta Terms.

    11. What support and service levels are included?

BUFI will use commercially reasonable efforts to provide the purchased software service and support through the channels made available for your plan. Contact hello@bu.finance or use support in the Service. A specific implementation deliverable, response time, dedicated support schedule, uptime percentage or service-credit remedy applies only if expressly agreed in an order or service-level agreement.

Maintenance, security work, provider outages and network conditions may interrupt access. Where reasonably practicable, we will give notice of planned disruptions. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, any particular AI result, or an uptime guarantee for a third-party payment rail or blockchain. The warranty terms and mandatory-law protections in Section 16 of the Terms continue to apply; a software service credit does not replace customer-asset remedies or non-waivable statutory rights.

    12. Which other legal terms apply?

These Subscription Terms are part of the BUFI Terms of Service. Sections 16–20 continue to govern warranties, liability, indemnity, disputes and Delaware governing law. Existing customer-asset exceptions, mandatory consumer protections and remedies remain available.

Confidentiality, ownership, accrued lawful payment obligations, applicable data duties and other provisions that by their nature survive continue after the subscription ends. Payment or billing disputes do not authorize BUFI to seize wallet assets. Notices and material changes follow Section 21 of the Terms; notices, cancellation, price changes and collection also remain subject to applicable law. Questions about subscriptions, invoices or credit purchases can be sent to hello@bu.finance.
